[Nara] How to Reach Yoshinoyama’s “Senbonzakura” from Osaka 🌸 Take the Sakura Liner + Ropeway + Bus

A once-in-a-lifetime view you shouldn’t missthe thousand cherry trees of Mt. Yoshino in full bloom🌸

Here’s a detailed guide on how to get there from Osaka using the Kintetsu Sakura Liner, the ropeway, and a local shuttle bus!

🚉 Access from Osaka to Yoshinoyama

You can leave Osaka in the morning and arrive before noon.
Once at Yoshino Station, take the ropeway up the mountain → walk about 30–40 minutes to the “Chikurin-in-mae” bus stop → hop on a shuttle bus that takes you up to Oku-Senbon, the highest cherry blossom viewpoint.

🚄 About the Sakura Liner

We took the Kintetsu Limited Express “Sakura Liner” from Osaka. You can reserve your ticket online, and we opted for the deluxe seat (recommended for comfort). If you don’t choose deluxe, the regular limited express fare applies.

🚌 About the Shuttle Bus

While the official sign said a 90-minute wait, we only waited about an hour. During peak sakura season, buses may not run exactly on schedule due to crowds and traffic, so allow extra time just in case.
